A: We work with art of all styles and periods as long as the work is valued at or above $5,000. For artwork that may be considered cultural heritage, proof of export prior to 1970 may be required.
Q: How is each listed work vetted?
A: Our team of art world professionals uses their combined experience and knowledge of fine art so that curators can have confidence in acquiring the works listed on our site.
Q: Are there any fees associated with listing an artwork?
A: There is a $100 listing fee to share your donation on our platform, and a 10% commission of the donated value will be paid out to Fine Art Donations for facilitating the donation.
Q: Is there any form of compensation for donors?
A: Donors will be able to claim a charitable tax deduction for their donated artwork, and the knowledge that the art will be in the care of a museum for others to view and appreciate.
Q: Are there any fees for participating museums?
A: Museums can create an account and browse available donations free of charge, but our premium museum account allows curators to view new listings a week before unpaid accounts.
