Isak Calderón was born in Jerusalem 1912 and lived in Mexico since his childhood. A self-taught artist and skilled with the palette knife: after a long time, like most great artists, he found his true means of expression. With constant experimentation he created a completely new technique in the use of acrylics and oils, which he handled with sensitivity and to which he gave his personality. The result, a beautiful and unique style, which made him world famous. Combining expressionism and impressionism, Isaac portrays various aspects of life seen through his eyes. Many people think that he is a philosopher with his paint and palette knife. (bio from Noyola Anticuarios).
